Wildwood Park
At 1700 acres, Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks is about half the size of LA’s Griffith Park, serving a population of around 135,000.
Crowned by Mount Clef ridge (seen in the original “Spartacus” and other movies and TV), it features a waterfall, a year-around creek with oak laden trails, expansive meadows that light up with wildflowers when the rain gods smile and much more.
This gallery features mostly landscapes at the beginning, then shifts to flowers and assorted flora.
Things to look for: biker, hiker, jogger, waterfall, waving grass, wild mustard, blue skies, clouds, wildflowers, oak tree, yucca plants, misty mountain, Indian paint brush, cactus flower, goldfields.
