The rains returned to SoCal after a long dry spell. That has every nature lover and photographer outside hunting down the latest blooms before the all-too-soon mid-April die off.
Here are two images of a vast bloom of lupines on a hillside nestled up against the mountains in Camarillo. One shows a marine layer making its way across the Oxnard plain.
